In the highly competitive category of delivery, DoorDash needed to stand for more than just the functional items that show up at your door - by showing the emotive benefit the service can provide.

To capture the time you save by ordering what you’re craving, versus preparing it yourself, we brought everyday stress monsters - laundry, paperwork and the kid’s mess - to life.

Wildly intricate costumes and choreography set to the classic Robyn track ‘Dancing On My Own’ showed that when stress takes hold of you, DoorDash delivers relief.

All VFX were practical and created in-camera, with acclaimed Cirque du Soleil costumers taking over sixty hours a piece to sew each monster costume by hand.

With a strategy firmly focused on what our target truly hungered for, and a production approach that delivered on the weird and the whimsical, the campaign cut through - cutting the cost of DoorDash Canada’s new customer acquisition in half.
