A single campaign reaches three unique audiences

One ambitious brief, three distinct groups. To connect with potential DoorDash customers as well as merchants and Dashers, we staged ‘One Delivery in Three Acts’ - a cinematic story told in three interconnected spots, each captured from a different audience point of view.

The campaign unfolds in a blackened yet vivid theatrical world, where large format, multi-dimensional set pieces move in kinetic unison with our performers. The soundtrack is a reimagining of the soul classic ‘Hold On, I’m Coming’ by Sam and Dave, done in three clearly defined modern styles - from contemporary Hip Hop to early 2000’s Electronica.

Directed by Henry Scholfield and choreographed by Keoni and Mari Madrid, the trio of films seamlessly integrate practical set builds with computer generated effects, at a scale that challenges what a commercial shot in Canada could be.

An ambitious strategic objective - to look beyond the customer alone and instead celebrate merchants and Dashers as well, was met with an equally ambitious execution. A highly-crafted, 360 view of a single night in the neighbourhood and unignorable ode to the invisible threads of hustle and glory that connect us all.

"The most strikingly crafted campaign of the year"
